When I connect my PS (Vset to  13.5V, Aset to 0.10A) to a 50ohm load, the PS goes into CC mode and the voltage and current are displayed correctly.    When I connect it to a 12V leadacid battery(12.6V), the voltage stays the same, and the current displays 0.00A, even though current measured with a meter inline shows good current (> than the 0.10A).

    Is that expected behavior?

    Hello Mike Garber,

Do you mean the output of 200310 is still set as 13.5v/0.1A when you connect battery? Would you please tell us how large is  the input voltage/current in that case? And is the output voltage the same as input voltage?

If possible, would you like to show us how it is by images?

    Best regards,

It’s the Miracle of Christmas.  I figured it out!

In my battery charging circuit, I had a single common ground at the Power Supply Input.   Apparently you do your current monitoring on the low side (yeah, way easier!).   I separated the input ground from the output (to the battery) and sure enough…. no problem.

Im sorry to waste your time,
    HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!
