I recently bought your DC 4.5-30VDC 0.00-99.9V 50A Dual Ammeter/Voltmeter. Would you please give me a hint which wiring diagram I have to use or send me the correct diagram via mail? Thanks!

Hi, thanks for the purchasing. did you buy this DC 0-100V/50A Ampere Volt Meter? There are 3 wiring diagrams on the website, you can choose the diagram as your using condition. Maybe you can tell us your device and requirement details, then we can tell you the wiring.
BTW, if you need us to send the diagram to your mail, please tell us your mail address.
    Thanks!

    Hi, I purchased this dual voltage/ammeter: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GJKNN40/ref=as_li_tl?tag=proeng-20&keywords=dc+voltmeter+ammeter

Can you please provide me with the wiring diagram.

I am generating power using the thermoelectric effect, but need to measure the voltage and current I am producing before I can continue my research.

    Thanks!

    Albert

    Bought a panelmeter Volts+ 50A incl shunt
Is it possible to Display negative curre´nt (loading current back to Batterie)
If not, do you sail an optional Panelmeter, with this function?

    Hello
I would like to use your DUAL METER DC 0-99.9V; +/- 0-99.9A; CT(No shunt) to measure voltage & battery charging/load current in my car. Because the battery is in the rear of the car I would need to extend the wires between the CT & the meter to approximately 3.25m in length.
Will the amperage meter function properly & measure accurately with long wires?
Looking forward to a reply at your convenience
    Best regards
    Edward

    Hi Edward,
Long wires will do nothing to measuring voltage but will influence the accuracy of current reading.
    Hope this will help you.

    Hello again Drok keymaster.
Thank you for your quick & helpful reply.
Can you tell me how much accuracy of current reading will be lost as the wires are made longer?
Expressed perhaps in percentage per measured length.
How long are wires between the CT and the meter on the unit as it comes out of the box?
Will using a larger diameter wire help reduce the loss?

Any other advice regarding this idea would also be appreciated

    All the best
    Edward

I just got 3 .56″ ammeters. I am going to try them in some devices I am building. These are trailer light and brake testing units. I am a DC wiring expert and understand all of the functions. However, it would be nice to see a diagram that is larger than a postage stamp. I understand not printing and sending hard copy diagrams with inexpensive equipment, but not being able to print a decent size diagram really sucks. Also, you imply that “calibration” is required for accuracy, but don’t give a clue how to calibrate the equipment. I am very satisfied with the quality of the units, so far. It looks like a good product for the money. However, you need to provide a bit more info. If I need it, I can’t imagine how less experienced folks are doing. NOTE: THESE ARE NOT DUAL UNITS – I could not see a forum on the plain ammeter.
    Thank You,
    Lyle

    Hello Edward,
Thank you and the same to you.
We are sorry that we cannot ensure how much accuracy of current reading will be lost as the wires are made longer because different working environment will have different effects.
It ‘s better that the extended wires between the CT and the meter is less than 2m.
The wires between the CT and the meter on the unit as it comes out of the box is 150mm.
If you want to reduce the loss, you can try to apply Shielding line as the extended wire.
Hope this will be helpful to you.
    Best regards

    Thank you
I understand your concerns and the possibility of loss of accuracy
If I do try extending the wires I will send you the results for your information
    Best regards
    Edward
