    Hi!
I’ve bought the device from https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00H5KVG3I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and I have really strange problems to operate it. I wired it like scheme 3. The current which is measured by a multimeter is 356 mA and the Ampermeter is displaying anything abuat 8.2 Amperes! By using the adjustement poti, I can reduce the displayed value down to 7 A, but not into the range to have the right value.
    What I’m doing wrong?

    Kind regards,
    Georg

    Hello,

My B017FSED9I DC panel meter reads 20.8V when connected to my 12V battery as the ‘DC IN’.

The ‘LOAD’ is a 12v LED light that draws 0.8 amps.

The amp reading on the meter measures correct at 0.8A, but the voltage reading measures incorrect at 20.8v. It should be measuring about 12.7vdc.

Is there a calibration procedure for the meter?

Or is my meter defective / broken?

    Thank you,
    Peter

    Hello Peter,
Thank you for your writing in.
To find out the problem origin, could you please try to measure the voltage without connection with load?
    Look forward to your reply.
    Best regards.

I recently purchased six of your Drok Micro Volt Amp Meters, X000PTHDOX. I am using 2 of them to measure the voltage/current consumption of the hotend and another one to measure the voltage current consumption of the heated bed of my 3D printer. The hotend is powered by its own 12v/30A Power Supply and the heated bed is powered by its own 24v/15A power supply.I have an external 750mV shunt for each. I have attached a link to a block diagram of how I currently have it wired up.The problem I have had (4 times) is that the 24v meter smokes and dies when hooked to the 24v power supply. I have even switched the thin red and black wires to the 12v supply for power but to no avail. Please advise. ASAP.

    Hello P. St. Archer,
    Thanks for writing in.
Would you please let us know if it is this item?200071
The picture on the back of meter has showed the wiring diagram. And there is no distinction between positive and negative. Please feel free to hook it up like the diagram.
    Best regards.

I recently bought two of the “Voltage Current Display, DROK DC 4.5-100V Digital Voltmeter Ammeter Multimeter Panel, 0-50A Volt Tester Meter Amp Detector, LED Voltage Amperage Monitor Gauge for Automotive Motor Battery” from Amazon. So far they seem great. I have two questions:

The wiring diagrams on the back of the meters show the standard wiring with the 50 Amp shunt. But they also show a separate plug in connector for 12 volt power. But it works fine without an extra 12 volt power supply, besides there is no such plug on the display. I suspect that instruction is for other models and does not apply to this one.

When I approach or exceed 50 Amps, I hear a beeping, probably coming from the display. I assume that is an overcurrent warning. It is a nice extra feature but is not documented. Is there any more info available? Like at what current does the beeping start?
