I like it just fine i have not used it yet i am using it on a 100watt flashlight i am building.

I set this up with 18 vdc input from a transformer-rectifier-filter supply capable of about 15A. I set the output to 13.8v at no load. I used an amateur transceiver for a load. I viewed the output with an oscope. The max current I could get was about 6 amps. After that the output voltage dropped off very fast although the current limit LED never comes on. There was about 300 mV of AC ripple on the output with about 1.3A load. At 6A this increased only slightly. A 4700 uF cap on the output dropped the ripple to about 150 mV at 1.3A but had little effect at 6A.

I can't say I'm displeased. It was inexpensive and well made. The ad says 12A capacity and the little pamphlet that came with it said 8A continuous. If it had met either I'd give it at least 4 stars. It's easy to set up, a nice display built in, it comes with standoffs and plexiglass covers for both sides. It also has an easy access on and off switch.

It’s compact, voltage and current are very stable, comes with some basic instructions and a good value for the money. The only downside is the necessity to turn very small voltage and current limit adjustment screws every time you want to change the output settings This would not be an issue if unit had programmable, button activated presets which would allow one to select a specific voltage without the need to continually rotate the adjustment screws. Beyond that it works great.

Let me start off by saying the drok customer support is great! I had an issue, they took care of it fast. This thing is awesome! Easy to use, soo many uses! Get it and have fun! I am thoroughly impressed.

thing works great! just mount it somewhere safe cause its so tiny its easy to sling around on accident!
