Just finished putting it together after a couple of tries. Looks well made. If it works, I will buy more. BUT, the photo concerning the function of the switches is so fuzzy that I can't read them even with a magnifier. Sure wish clear picture and a paper instruction came with it. Shame that a nice product has so poor documentation. Any idea how I can get clarification?I would like to use this for my ham gear.

I've been playing around with the DROK 5A LM2596 voltage regulator with a 12V, 110Ahr deep cycle wet lead acid battery used on my boat trolling motor. This battery is like a large car battery. It WILL NOT charge a depleted battery. A 200W charger would be the minimum requirement to charge this battery. This DROK is good for about 40W before the regulator becomes hot without additional cooling fans. I've produced 60W while cooling it with a fan but didn't feel comfortable pushing it beyond that. 60W is 4.1A @ 14.4V. I'm using an old 16VDC laptop charger for my input voltage. Where this DROK does shine is as an adjustable float charger, or trickle charger once the battery is charged. Most lead acid batteries require a float charge of about 13.2V whereas most cheap trickle chargers output from 13.6 - 13.9V. This DROK allows me to fine tune the float charge voltage to whatever voltage level I need. I can now store my battery with this DROK float charging it at 13.1V for months without worrying about it. A very nice voltage regulator in a small package. I will be using to keep the battery charged on my portable generator. It has a lot of functions and ability for the price.
