I have a battery bank that generally maintains 12.6-11.5 volts.  If I set my voltage regulator to say 12 volts, what happens if the battery bank drops to 11.5?  Will it supply ~11.5 volts?

The chip I’m using is the DROK LM2596 Immersion Gold Voltage Regulator DC 3V-40V (product code 200338).

    Hello Jonathan,

200338 is a buck converter. Output voltage can’t be larger than input. If input voltage drops below  12V,  output will also change.

    Best regards.
