    Hello.

    In regards to https://www.amazon.com/DROK-Adjustable-Converter-Transformer-Protective/dp/B07JZ2GQJF , I am trying to establish what the charging indicator/display shows, where does it get information from, what mode etc.

    I plan on using something like this to take 10Ah of LTO batteries (Lithium Titanate) and attach a USB-C PD board. I believe that the output will be sufficient, the input will range from 13.2v to 16.8v. What does the charging display refer to, and would this be suitable to use as is, or if I plan to charge the batteries directly, would I need a diode to protect the unit during battery charging? (source batteries)

    Circuit would be linear, battery has charging points, then connected to the converter, converter connected to the USB-C PD board.

    Hello Grant Yardley，

    We are not sure exactly how it is. Did you connect USB-C PD board to converter output or input?

    For charging battery, you can connect diode in series to converter output port, that can prevent backfeed current.

    Specifically, when does the “fully charged” led light up?

    Hello,

    When actual load current decrease to 10% of preset current, “Charging” led will be off and “Fully” led is on.

    For example, preset current is 1A, if actual output  current  is lower than 0.1 A, “Fully” led is on.

    Hello, if the preset current is already set to the max and the “charging” led is still turned on (load current more than 10% of preset current), is it still ok to continue using the step down voltage regulator module or is it not recommended for the load current to be be more than 10% of the preset current?

    Hello,

    That is not warning sign, charging led is charging status indicator. When actual current is below 10% of preset current, that means battery is almost full or it is not charging.

    Hello,

    Just to confirm, charging led will be on when the output load current is below 10% of the preset current.

    Example preset current is 1A, when the output load current is less than 0.1A, charging led will be on and full led will be off, when output load current is 0.1A to 1A, full indicator will be on and charging led will be off. Is this correct?

    Hello,

    When the output load current is below 10% of the preset current, “Charging” indicator is off and “FULL” indicator is on.

    “FULL” indicator means battery is amlost fully charged.

    Hey, ik las je post over het gebruik van LTO-batterijen en het aansluiten van een USB-C PD-board, en het deed me denken aan iets wat ik laatst ontdekte: rockyspin, waar spelers uit België speciale bonussen krijgen. Ik begon met een paar kleine inzetten op de gokkasten en na een korte reeks verliezen had ik ineens een mooie winst.
