Hi – I purchased a Drok Buck Converter (180078/180080) from Amazon and have been testing it with a DC power supply and a couple of 12VDC/30W heating pads.  It was running fine at different input voltages, and different CV/CC settings.

Then I added a 5ah 12VDC battery to the output along with the heating pads. The amperage shot up to 6.03, so I quickly powered it down.

Now, even after calibrating, I cannot get the output voltage to go beyond anything than around 4V less than the input voltage. And it will not deliver any current.  I believe this unit has over-current protection, so I’m not sure what’s happened.

Could the over-current condition damaged something – if so, what should I look for?

    Thank you
