    Hi DROK,

I have been using your DC/DC buck converter 6-65V input to 0-60V output, 8A, for charging a 12V 60Ah battery from a wind alternator. The buck converter worked great at first, but today it stopped working. It didn’t power on, and I measured voltage level on the input even though it is not connected to anything. I suspect this was caused by over voltage from my wind alternator. The alternator could output DC voltage of 55 V at about 900 rpm. The alternator has rectifier installed, and it is rated at 12V 1200W. Because of this, I suspect that one of the power MOSFET might have blown (the F954ON). I wanted to replace it, but could you provide me some advice on what has really happened that caused the buck converter to not working? And possibly how to repair it?

    Your reply will be appreciated.

    Best Regards,

    Richard

    Hello Richard Mahuze,
    Thank you for writing in.
The item you mention should be #200220.

Would you please tell us some parameters, for example, input voltage/current for regulator, output voltage/current and other information.
We will try our best to find solution for you.
    Best regards.
