    got model # FS11D12A3 to convert 6v pos earth (ground) to 12v neg earth. Should hook to battery as + to +,  or + to power (  which is – on battery)  Help!

    the above number is the model number PRINTED ON THE UNIT.  It is dc-dc converter:  5-11v in, 12v 3amax out. no other numbers, bought on Amazon.
