I have DROK marked YH11060D. I have it set for 5V output.
The input is simply connected to a bench power supply at 20V, and the 5V output is connected to a resistor of 1.5 ohms. Output current is about 3 amps.
If the power supply is connected first, and then the load resistor, it operates normally.
However when the load resistor is connected first, and then the power supply is connected, it enters a mode where the input is shorted to ground, and the output is zero.
At lower currents (up to 2 amps) it operates normally, the failure occurs only when the load current is 3 amps or above.
I need the input to be powered on and off when the load is connected constantly. Can you see why this is happening?

I have two numbers: B00C4QVTNU; and maybe 100060747. These ones were ordered off Amazon.

    Hello Tomt,
    Thanks for your reply.
    We find out this item:
    090483
Would you please tell us how large the input current is?
We have asked out technicians to do some similar test according to your description.
But it is normal even if the output is set as 5V 8A.
We wonder if the input power is not enough or is there something that we have overlooked. Please kindly tell us the input current and more other details.
    Best regards.

With apologies, you are correct, my power supply was triggering the overcurrent shutdown because of the inrush current.
    Thanks for your help!
