    Hi, I just received this unit and it seem to not be operational.  Connected panel to connector marked “LCD” using one of the supplied ribbon cables, connected to 12VDC supply to IN side, verified input polarities. Nothing happens when panel ON/OFF button is pushed, nothing on display, zero volts on OUT side. Do you have any troubleshooting suggestions or should I just return the unit to Amazon?

    Sorry I’m an idiot, I figured out that there was a second ribbon cable connector hidden under the back of the panel housing for the KEY hookup, all good now. Might be good to indicate something about the ribbon cable wiring in the instructions.
