I plan to use this converter as a limited range fan speed controller. I will add an external poteniiometer, after removing your PC Board trimpot. As I would like to solder in its place a 2 terminal PC screw connector; it would help if I knew How your trimpot is wired; as a potentiometer or variable resistor. As a variable resistor I’ll need only 2 external connections. Since I have no schematic and you have painted over the solder lands. I can’t tell visually how it’s wired. I plan to use a external 22K ohm pot..
