Hello, I bought DEOK 0.56″ 60-9999 RPM Tacho Meter Tachometer Motorcycle Gauge Speed Meter for Car LED Display (Bare board, yellow) I am trying to install to a 4 stroke single motorcycle. Wrapping the signal wire around the HT lead gives high readings. Can you advise?

I have the B00L42TNGO. tachometer.  How do I hook up the three leads?  (red, black and green)

Red: Power 7-30 v
Black: negative
Green: Signal input pin
