    Hi i was wondering if this needs a specific input supply? or anything that can output 6vDC will be good enough to power the device?

    It doesn’t need specific input supply.
    The input voltage for this item is DC 6-55V.
    Just make sure the input must be DC-DC, unable to use AC 220V to directly supply electricity.
