Hello, I just purchased this LM2596 DC Buck Volt Regulator from Amazon. Link is here – https://www.amazon.com/DROK-Regulator-Converters-Step-down-Voltmeter/dp/B00WEBJRE8/ref=cm_cd_al_qh_dp_t. It’s the one with the clear case. I have absolutely no idea how to adjust it. Can you please link me to a manual? Thank you!

Hi, thanks for the reply and thanks for linking me to the datasheet. Unfortunately that doesn’t really help me. I need to know how to operate the device. Specifically what I’m trying to do is drop the output voltage to 3.3 volts, as I want to run 5mm LEDs from it. Can you provide instructions on how to do that? Thank you!

    Hello Mike Then,
    You’re welcome.
Have you tried to adjust the Adjust voltage potentiometer?
If not, please tried to adjust the voltage potentiometer, clockwise for increasing, counter-clockwise for decreasing.
    Hope this can help you.
    Best regards

I have not tried that, I will try it. But the green light is on, what does that mean? You don’t have any written instructions on what button does what and how to change modes?

    Hello Mike Then,
The green light is on, which means that the load is full charged.
There is an image on the datasheet showing all the function of the button and the LED light, like the following image:

Hope this is useful to you.

I purchased the LM2596 Immersion Gold Buck Converter but can only get 1.29 Volts output. I am inputing 24V with a bench power supply. I tried going both ways with the potentiometer but no luck. Any ideas?

I purchased two of these and the DROK DC-DC Buck Converter Constant Current&Volt Regulator 5-36V to 1.25-32V Step Down Regulator 5A 75W High Power LED CC Driver Board, Battery Charger for Solar Panels/Wind Driven Generator (https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01EMYHOC6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) and I cannot adjust the voltage. I tried turning the voltage potentiometer clock wise and counter clock wise and it does not change at all. I need to turn the voltage down to 5V for a Raspberry PI.

    Hello ralph,
Would you please tell us how many turns did you turn the potentiometer counter clock wise? Is it over 20 turns?
    Best regards.

When I turn the voltage adjust it goes from 1.7 volts down to .8 volts over a range of 20 turns with no load.

    Hello ian cummings,

Would you please kindly offer the product link or SKU number so that we can confirm which item it is?

No matter which converter it is, please set the output voltage and current for your battery firstly.

    Best regards,

    DROK
