    The instructions say the input voltage needs to be 1.1 times the output voltage when using this device.

    I am connecting to a power supply 15v – 30v DC.  I would like to output 6v @ 6A for several hours.

    Is that too much difference in input and output voltage to safely run this device?

    Do you mean this item? 200326

    Input is at least 1.1 times of output voltage, it doesn’t matter if over 1.1 times.

    Yes.  That is the item in question.

    I figured that was the situation.  The instructions were not very clear.

    It might be helpful to word it differently in the instructions.  At least 1.1 times the voltage.  Got it.

    Hi,

     

    I would like to use 200326 as a Lithium-ion battery charger. Is this possible? Do I need to put a diode at the output to avoid battery discharge? Also any step-by-step instructions for this usage scenario as a solar charger might be very valuable to other customers as well.

    Hello Mario,

    Thanks for writing in.

    To prevent  battery from feeding back, you can add diode at the output.

    We are sorry we don’t have step-by-step instructon for this usage.
