Do you have an adjustable power supply with RS485 and modbus? 5 amp would be enough with 24 vdc input. Voltage is not so critical. What is critical is it communicate RS485 and modbus.
A buck boost like the DPH3205 would be wonderful, but something like the DPS5005 (buck only) is suitable for this project. The biggest thing for me would be something I can get and simply run RS485 lines to my PLC would be pure heaven!
Thank you for the followup. Im sorry to hear this! For any kind of “industrial” application, Modbus and RS-485 are the “go to” solutions. You have a wonderful product and product line. Without this though I am without a solution in anything close to an “industrial” application.
