Not sure how to handle my Childs social media use

Im starting to worry about how much time my child spends on social media and who they interact with there. I don’t want to be to strict but I do want them to safe. How do other parents manage this? Any advice would mean a lot.

i totally get that feeling. Itas not easy to find the balance between protecting them and not being overly controlling. I went through someyhing very similar and eventually found an approach that helped both with safety and trust. It made things much calmer at home. If you d like I can share what worked for us

As I said I had a similar situation. My 12 year daughter started asking questions about her appearance or more precisely whether she is beautiful. At first I didnt pay attention, but the questions began to come more and more frequently. I watched her and noticed how often she sits on her phone, specifically on Instagram. And when I used the uMobix text message tracker my sister recomended, it turned out to be right. And Im really glad I caught the problem early on because social media really does have a strong impact on our children s unstable selfsteem.
