On Amazon, I bought the DROK unit described as “Buck Converter 12v to 5v, DROK 5A USB Voltage Regulator DC 9v-36v Step Down to DC 5v-5.3V 5.2V 3.5-6A Volt Transformer Power Supply Module for Phone Fast Charging”. (I do not see this unit in the DROK website store; only on Amazon.) The description indicates this condition: ‘DC 9-24V, Output 5.2V/6A/30W’. In this input condition and using a DC electronic load, the maximum output is 5V at 3.3A, and there’s absolutely no way I could get this buck converter to produce a 5v output at even 4A, let alone 5 or 6A. What am I doing wrong? Has anyone else used this unit at 4, 5, or 6A?
