I recently bought your product :
https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00WEBJRE8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1DROK DC-DC Buck Converter Constant Current&Volt Regulator 5-36V to 1.25-32V Step Down Regulator 5A 75W High Power LED CC Driver Board, Battery Charger for Solar Panels/Wind Driven Generator
I assumed it would keep my output voltage stable, even if my input voltage change, but it seems that this is not the case. My input is a NiMH battery pack, its voltage can vary from 12 to 6 V during its discharge. I set my output voltage to 5.0V and I want it to remain this value, but if it starts at 5.0V (input near 7.0V), the next day its value is 5.5V (input near 6.6V), I set it back to 5.0V, the next day it’s 5.4V and so on…
Now I put another fully recharged battery for input, without changing the value of output and assume it wouldn’t change, but with the new battery the output is now only 4V !
Do I do something wrong? It is supposed to be a constant regulator, does the output voltage change if the input change?? Or am I in the wrong mode, like constant current? I don’t think so, because the red led is off.
Also it is not clear how you change mode (constant current or voltage) and what the battery charging / full LED mean.
I am using the USB output and I am afraid I could burn the equipment I plug in if the voltage is too high…
