    Hello,
This is the product that we’ve got:

    https://www.amazon.ca/Converter-Transformer-Regulator-Controller-Regulated/dp/B00E8D7XYG/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1486060208&sr=8-1&keywords=drok+600w

In our application we need to charge a battery pack which float voltage is 55.65Vdc. We want to limit current to 2A. From the other topic I learned that we should first adjust voltage to 55.65, then set current limit to min, and then connect the battery and adjust current limit to what we need. But what if battery is charged and not drawing much of current? How can we set the current limit then?

Another question. Let’s say we adjusted the current limit and connected the battery. Later we want to power the converter off. Is the converter protected from backflow current from battery? Or should we disconnect the battery first and then power the converter off? And also, if we want to turn the converter back ON, should we again set the current limit to min first and then connect the battery? Or this procedure is for initial setup only?

The topic I have read before is this : http://www.droking.com/forums/topic/drok-600w-12a-dc-boost-converter-constant-current-voltage-12-60v/

    Thank you,
    Roman

    Hello Roman,
Thank you for your writing in.
We are sorry for keeping you waiting.
Regarding to your first question, the battery you connect must be discharged fully before you connect it.
About your second question, you should connect a switch on the input terminal of converter, when you want to turn off converter, just through the switch.
The next time you still need to again set the current limit when you want to turn on it.
    Hope this can help you.
    Best regards.
