Hello, I have been setting up a project with LED lights and a couple of boosters. All the boosters I have used before this would just power on to the voltage I have chosen. With this one, after I have set the voltage and the current and click “OK”, the power output works great. If I power down the booster and power it back on, I have to click the “OK” button before it will kick on to the voltage I have programmed. Is there something I am missing to get this booster to just power on without having to click the “OK” button every time? I have these mounted in a closet up high, so they need to just power on when the power supply turns on.

    Thank you for your help,

    John

    Have a great one,

I purchased this product through amazon and even though I have read the instructions packaged with the item; they are translated so poorly that I am unable to get the device to enter fully functional mode. This is coming from someone who works directly with Chinese suppliers on a regular basis for a rather large R&D department.

Holding the OK button for “a while” does not cause the led to display the —y— prompt. Actually, It just occured to me that the “then electricity” could mean that I am supposed to press ok and hold OK down while the device is unplugged, then I plug it in while still holding down OK to get the mode change to occur? Is that what I am supposed to do?

For future travelers, that was it. You have to hold OK while there is no input power applied to the device, Then apply power at which point the modes 0, 1 and 2 will cycle through. If you release OK while the 0 is showing, the output will automatically be enabled when the device boots.
