I just ordered a bunch of these units http://www.amazon.com/DROK-Step-down-Converter-Regulator-Electromobile/dp/B00VUHVX6W/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1462840669&sr=8-1-spons&keywords=drok+voltage+regulator+constant+current&psc=1 and haven’t been able to get any of the ones I’ve tested to work. The voltage regulation seems to work fine. When I connect my multi-meter in 10A current mode to the output the current initially reads somewhere around 3.5 Amps. As soon as I start to turn the pot counterclockwise to decrease the current, the output starts to jump around and settles at 4.4Amps. No matter which direction I turn the CC pot or how much I turn it, the current output does not change at all. I am using a 5.7 battery as the supply and trying to step it down to 3.3V with a current output max set to around 1.2 Amps. Am i doing something incorrectly or did I just buy 22 of the wrong thing? Or are a bunch of the units defective and I just haven’t gotten to a good one yet?
