RE:
DROK® Micro AC 110V 4000W Voltage Regulator SCR 110VAC
My Rv’s built in microwave oven works normally on shore power but it heats too slowly off of my small 3KW built in generator. The generator output is 115Vac. Old…and no longer adjustable. (A 1996 early inverter type.)
When using the microwave oven with the generator, it takes twice as long to heat a cup of tea. I suspect it being an inductive load, that my built in small rv generator needs some Power Conditioning or simply (hopefully) to raise the voltage. I think if I raise the voltage to 125 it should heat faster. All other rv loads are fine with the generator. I would only be using the regulator on the microwave oven.
Am I getting lucky? Or am I missing something about your regulator? Your item description writes nothing about inductive loads except motors and transformer.
Can you think of any reason I should not try it?
