I am using this meter on a golf cart battery charger test station. I like the size and readability of the unit. I use the volts and current information. I do not use or need the power or energy information.
I installed the unit per the included instructions. The unit gives the voltage reading but 0 on the current reading. Per the troubleshooting information this is normally a wiring issue with the stunt. I checked the wiring it checks out per the diagram. I went to the settings and changed the settings from 90.0 to 06.0 to 99.9 to 06.5, this made no change. All other settings were left as shipped.
I used an amprobe clamp on meter to measure the current, it read 10 amps. Did I miss something or do I have a defective unit?
Also do you have a 100 amp voltage and 100 amp current meter about the same size and readably as the Bayite display mentioned above?
Hello Sal Veltri,
Thank you for writing in.
Since the Bayite meter is not the band of our store, we are not sure the technical characteristic of this product.
Here is the 100A 100V voltage ampere dual display multimeter of our store:
DROK Micro Volt Amp Meter 0-100V/A VA Multimeter Voltage Current Monitor Voltmeter Ammeter Digital 2in1 Blue Red 2-color LED Display Ampere Volt Tester Gauge
parameters:
Operating voltage: DC 4.5 ~ 30V
Measure the voltage: DC 0 ~ 100V
Minimum resolution (V): 0.1V(when >10V)
Minimum resolution (V):0.01V(when <10V)
Measure current: 2A / 5A / 10A / 50A / 100A (> 10A, need external shunt)
Minimum resolution (A): 0.01 A
Operating Current: <20mA
Display: three 0.28 "LED digital tube
Display Color: Red + Red; Red + Blue (Dual Display)
Dimensions: 48 x 29 x 21 mm
Refresh rate: 500 ms / times
Measuring accuracy: 1% (± 1 digit)
Operating temperature: -10 - 65 ℃
Humidity: 10 to 80% (non-condensing)
Working pressure: 80 to 106 kPawiring:
Black line (thin): vacant or buck circuit (module) is negative
Red line (thin): Power Supply +
Black line (thick): COM, common measurement
Red line (thick): PW +, measuring terminal voltage input positive
Yellow line (thick): IN + input + currentPlease note:
The operating voltage must be DC 4.5-30V.
The ammeter can be connected only to the negative of the device.
≤10A, built-in shunt, no need external shunt; > 10A, need external shunt.
When the black thin line free, it is better to use insulating tape around the exposed portion of the wire to prevent short circuits
If only be used as a voltmeter, connect together the yellow and black line.Hope this can help you.
