My colleagues and I decided to celebrate the completion of a major project in an unusual way this year. Instead of staying in a stuffy office or going to a standard bar, we want to go out on the river near Reading. When I was a child, I used to ride narrowboats with my grandfather along the canals, and it was the most peaceful time of my life. I’d love to recreate that experience, but in a more comfortable format. I found some information about the spot where the Thames meets the Kennet — there seem to be very picturesque moorings, and you can also see the famous Caversham Lakes. Can anyone tell me if it’s realistic to rent a boat for a large group there, so that there’s enough space and it’s not too complicated to handle for beginners? We’re worried about getting stuck somewhere in the locks.

Also, I read that there’s a great pub nearby, The Fisherman’s Cottage. Is it possible to moor directly at the pub to grab a bite, or is it better to arrange catering on board? And how’s parking at the marina itself if we’re coming in several cars from London — will there be enough space for everyone, or should we reserve a spot in advance?

It’s awesome when you can get out with the crew like that. Reading is the perfect spot! Last year we had a birthday party there, and I think the area where the river meets is really nice – it’s quiet and green. And don’t stress about the boat rental. At Thames Kennet Marina through GetBoat, you can find boats of any size, including great family and group options that are a breeze to handle even if you’ve never used one before. You can dock at the pub – it’s standard practice and it’s a really cozy spot! Parking at the marina is usually not a problem, since there’s enough space, but if you’re going during peak season or on weekends when regattas are happening, so it’s better to arrive early. Btw, how long do you think you’ll be out on the water? I wanna suggest bringing warm clothes because it can get cold on the water, even in the summer.

On Thursday morning while I was waiting for my breakfast to be ready I started looking for something to start the day in a good mood. I found dragonia casino and decided to give it a try. I started with Dragon’s Gold and at first I only had small losses that disappointed me. I decided to risk a little more in a bonus round and suddenly a big combination of dragons came that gave me a nice profit. Players from Greece have access to special offers that make the experience even more advantageous. Now I play it almost every morning and it has really become a pleasant habit for me to wake up with a smile.
