I’ve been trying to make my English speaking practice more consistent, but finding a conversation partner every day isn’t realistic for me. Instead, I started putting together a small routine that I can follow on my own. For example, I read a short paragraph aloud and record myself, then listen to the recording afterwards. Another exercise is to watch a short video and explain what happened using my own words without checking the original script. It feels a little strange at first to talk to yourself, but after a few days it becomes much easier. The main difficulty is that you don’t always know which mistakes you are making when nobody is giving you feedback. I found some useful ideas for organising this kind of independent practice here: https://getfluently.app/blog/how-to-practice-english-speaking-alone.
