    I asked an AI coding assistant to add a search filter to my small app, and it finished much faster than I expected. The feature looked fine at first, but later I noticed it behaved strangely when the search box was empty. What should developers always check before trusting AI-generated code?

    I usually start by testing different inputs, including unusual ones, and checking whether the code handles errors properly. I once accepted an AI suggestion that worked perfectly with sample data but failed when some fields were missing. Since then, I also check variable names, dependencies, and whether the solution fits the rest of my project.
