<span style=”font-weight: 400;”>Is a full exchange account really necessary if you only want to purchase cryptocurrency occasionally? A friend told me I could use a simpler service instead, but I’m not sure what the tradeoff is. I don’t need charts, margin trading, or any of the advanced stuff. The ideal setup for me would be something where I can choose a coin, enter the amount, select a payment method, and understand exactly what the transaction will cost before confirming it.</span>

There are services built more around direct purchases, so a full trading interface isn’t necessarily required for that use case. Paybis is one example worth researching. Their official site is https://paybis.com/ , where you can look through the available cryptocurrencies and purchase options. I’d pay particular attention to the final quoted amount rather than just the advertised fee. The exchange rate, payment method, transaction limits, and any additional charges can all affect the effective cost. It’s also worth checking the requirements for your country before deciding whether it fits your situation.

User 1: That answers the part I was confused about. I assumed every crypto purchase had to start with an exchange account, but apparently that isn’t necessarily the case. I’ll compare a direct purchase service with the exchange I was originally considering and see which one gives me the better combination of convenience and total cost. For the amount I’m dealing with, I’m more interested in simplicity than having a huge list of trading features.
