Hi, it’s likely the 60v 0-12a buck converter I received today from Amazon is defective. The manual reads easy enough but when I configure my 57v input to 25v/10a output that output is still 57v. Using a voltmeter and have unlocked, then locked numerous times.

    Hello Robert,

Could you please check if it is this item? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08LPVWX74?ref=myi_title_dp

To check what wrong it is,  would you like to show us the operation by video? You can share a video link here or send it to service@droking.com

    Best regards.

Hi, thanks. Yes, that is the buck converter. I’ve also seen a detailed video. Unless there is something not explained in that video or in your manual I believe this converter blew up on the 57 volts feeding it.

    Process seems pretty easy:

    1) Connect to < 60v power supply (in this case my battery bank)

    2) Set output amperage (10a) and voltage (25v)

    3) Hit “OK”

What happens is voltage input (~57v) is displayed and validated with voltmeter. So, voltage is passing but whatever module/s step it down is not.

    Hi Robert,

What is the maximum voltage from the 60v power supply?

From your video, it seems output is around 23.92v instead of 57v.  Did you change input source?

And we found the LED display keep flashing, is it normal actually?

    Best regards,

You’re asking me to do things, I’m delivering them, and you’re ignoring them. Everything you ask here is answered in the video or my posts. You’re wasting my time.

    Hello,

As the parameters in video are different from  description ,so we are not sure what wrong it is. If it is inconvenient for us to check further, all we can do is refund drieclty. Is it ok for you? Please kindly offer order ID.

    Best regards.

    Hello,

I purchased the DC-DC buck booster converter to step down my 15.4VDC 500mA wind turbine to 12VDC  to power a AAA battery charger, which operates at approx. 400mA. When I hookup the turbine to the converter I’m reading input voltage, but I can’t get the any output voltage. I’ve adjusted the amp pot & voltage pot counter clockwise and clockwise, but I’m not getting anything. I’ve tested the DC-DC buck booster with two 9V @ 900mA batteries in series and everything works fine. Any help with how I can get the converter to function with the turbine would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello Joseph Barnes,

Would you like to offer product link so that we can confirm which item it is?

And is the output voltage zero even though no laod is connected? Would you like to show us how it is by video?

You can send video to service@droking.com

I have an electric skateboard and I am trying to step down the power from my battery pack (60V DC 90A ; 12S7P lithium ion [84x Samsung 40T battery’s]) to a 12V DC 10A Max system so I can run auxiliary items such as lights or USB chargers. What Buck Converter is best for this job?

I looked at DROK 200166 and it says it is in stock on the DROK website but sold out on Amazon. Is there one that is better suited to work for my application?
