    I bought the DROK® DC-DC 6~35V 1.0~35V Boost Buck Converter Adjustable Constant Output Voltage Step-Up Step-down Regulator to power 12V appliances from a 7.2V NIHM D cell battery pack.

    The Amazon site says it is rated for 7A input and 5A output. However I can only power a 12V 10W light from this (just under 1A output and 1.4A input). The converter stops working when I try to power anything more powerful. So are the stated current ratings much too high? If so who do I return this to you or Amazon as it’s no use to me?

    I returned this and bought the LTC187 DC Boost Converter 3.5-30V 100W Power Source Voltage Regulator 5V/12V Step Up Volt Module with Voltmeter Input/Output Alternate LED Display (Item model number: LTC1871, ASIN: B00HD7GZDE) with perfect results.

    No problem, very happy with the LTC187 DC Boost Converter 3.5-30V 100W Power Source Voltage Regulator but perhaps you want to look into the issues I raised with the DC-DC 6~35V 1.0~35V Boost Buck Converter. I also raised these on the main thread (DC Voltage Regulator Index before I saw this was not really the right place and did receive some correspondence from you see correspondence). Perhaps you want to consolidate all the correspondence into one place.
