I purchased a dc buck module from Amazon order # 113-7351133-4048205, produce # 180078/180080. I am having difficulty understanding how to set up the device. I have a solar panel which maxes out at 14.2 volts. I have an entrance gate operator the cannot run >13.0 volts. I have set up a second 12 volt battery to run the gate system and have the converter between the 2 batteries to step down the voltage. I have been able to set the in and out voltages on the device but don’t understand whether I also need to set the current and if so, how to do it. Also, the in voltage varies depending on the solar output. Does this affect the device? If you could give me a brief overview of what I need to do to set the device, I would appreciate it. Thank you. Recently i bought this DROK DC Buck Converter CNC, 10V-100V to 0V-90V, DC to DC 12V 24V 36V 48V 72V 10A 900W Adjustable Power Supply Voltage Regulator Module from Amazon Mexico.

My configuration is :
– Input Voltage is 12V 5A

My problem is when I try to set up the output voltage to 24V, 36V or 48V or any other voltage greater than Input Voltage  , both the CV Display and the output power always shows 12.23. But If I select a voltage lower than Input voltage the displayed voltage is correct. What is wrong?  Do I have to return this product to Amazon or you have a solution?
