    Hi,

I recently purchased a PWM motor controller from amazon.com (DROK® Micro DC Speed Controller 9-60V 40A PWM Motor Controller: 1500W). After connecting inputs and outputs and applying power, I found the potentiometer knob did not change the voltage output. Is the unit broken or am I connecting something wrong? I connected my power supply and motor as specified.

    Thank you,
    Sam

Dear Sam, did the power indicator lights on? Did the wires connected the potentiometer loose? Could you please tell us more details about your using environment? what’s the input and output and what’s the load and the wiring? please send us a picture to let us check what is the problem detail? Thanks!

    Thank you for the reply!

The power light did come on. Input is 48VDC, output is connected to a 48V DC motor. When everything is connected, the controller passes 48VDC and runs the motor. The run, stop, and brake switch works, but the potentiometer does not. The motor was under no load during test, so there was very little load on the power supply and controller. I will send a picture this afternoon when testing again.

    Thank you,
    Sam

Hi Sam, did you check the wires (winding displacement) of the potentiometer? Pull out then plug it into again. If you still cannot adjust it, maybe some components were broken. If the current is too large, it will destroy some internal components.

Any way, If it still work for you, could you please contact us from your Amazon order, we will find a solution for you.

    Thanks for your understanding.
    DROK
