I am trying to locate a DC to DC step-up converter for 12v/24v (preferably 12v) stepping up to 32v with 15amp (480 watt) capability. I would need it to be waterproof. I am in the need of 4 of these. Do you guys carry one or know of where I could find one?

    Thanks
    Chris

    Hello Chris,
We are sorry that we do not have a DC-DC step-up converter with 15amp(480 watt) capacity.
Here is the product that we think the most close to you requirements:
DROK® 10-30V to 48V 6A Step Up Voltage Regulator Boost Converter DC-DC 288W Voltage Regulated Power Supply Tansformer Module with Wide Input Range
    Parameters:
Input Voltage: DC 12V (wide range 9-30V)
    Output Voltage: DC 48V±0.25V
Output Current: 6A (recommend below 5A for long-term work.)
    Output Power: 288W
    Conversion Efficiency:96%
    Over-current Protection: 8A
    Hope this can help you.
    Best regards

I just purchased 2 of your 24vac to 12vdc buck converters and I am having a problem.
I have to ground one side of the 24vac on the 50va 120/24vac transformer.
This causes the negative side of the 12v output of your converter to short out when it is connected to the device.
It looks like there is an internal connection between your AC and DC sides of the converter. If so, this is a problem. Do you have a schematic of this?

“I have to ground one side of the 24vac on the 50va 120/24vac transformer.”
Not possible with a rectifier connected to the AC. If you need a grounded AC source get another transformer, or power your relays, whatever with DC. You can add another rectifier to the transformer if you don’t need the capacitive smoothing.
