I bought the 200150 because it looks like it could handle these functions, but I would like to double check and I have a couple of questions too. I am pretty sure it can do these 3 things, can you please confirm?:

    1) Take output from a 12V solar panel to charge a deep cycle 12V lead acid battery. Will a separate solar panel regulator be necessary? I don’t think so.

    2) Take output from said deep cycle 12V lead acid battery and charge a 52V Li Ion battery pack.

    3) Take output from 12v solar panel to charge a 52V Li Ion battery pack. Same question as above, will a separate solar panel regulator be needed?

    3) Do you have any suggestions for a case for it?

    Hello Dennis,

It is a boost converter. If you want to make it work, output should be higher than input voltage. Please make sure voltage difference between input and output is at least 2V.
And if you want to step up voltage from 12v to 52v, there will be large voltage difference, which may reduce conversion efficiency.

    Best regards.
