I have acquired a Drok DC-DC converter, model FS11D12A3, and attempting to install it in my 1948 6 volt positive ground Chrysler New Yorker.  Your device shows attaching the Red wire to the Positive (+) pole and the Black wire to the Negative (-) pole, with the corresponding attached to the Yellow Positive (+) side and Black Negative (-) side of my intended cigarette lighter.

In attempting to test this converter’s output before I bent and twisted to install it, I conneted the Positive and Negative input wires to my 6 volt battery and attempted to meter the output of the Black and Yellow wires.  What I got was 6 volt in and 6 volt out.

Is this something different I need to do with these 2 input and 2 output wires to achieve the desired results.  I have seen others inquiry but did not see the results of this questions.

    please help

On June 22, 2019, I submitted an inquiry (#36056) as to the your product Drok DC-DC Converter, Model #FS11D12A3, and I received, instead, computer generated reponses that was originally sent to a “Curt Snow” on “April 24 and 31, 2019” explaining that the Model number provided “is not a part number” and that you “can’t confirm which product item it is.”  This is your company’s Model number.

It is surprising that your company could not respond to me directly of my inquiry, but rather have an automatic response be generated instead for your answer to your product.  I do not have the receipt of delivery and can not provide you the “part number” that you request; but your company should be able to locate its own Model number and actually have an actual person respond to me and others making similiar inquiries as to other of your products.

Your web site does not allow for any search inquiry by your own Model number, and makes it impossible to look for answers for product support that your company, its seems, is unable to provide either.

I await for your response, actual response, to my inquiry.

    Hello john,

We are sorry for inconvenience may cause.  The number on product is manufacturing number. Sometime it is hard for us to find item by that.

We have unified part number for each item.  For example, as shown below

And if you order it from Amazon, all of items on Amazon have ASIN number.

According to your description, we tried to find one item, #200011. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01L90B3RI/ref=as_li_tl?tag=proeng-20

If it is correct one, is it convenient for you to show us your connection so that we can check what wrong it is?

    Wait for your reply sincerely.

    Best regards.
