Where do I attach a heatsink on this board? The regulator has no mounting hole.
I’m taking a 18-19 volt lithium ion battery and stepping down to 14-15 volts to
power a windshield washer pump from a car.
I think it draws about 1.5 amps, so the wattage is over 15.

p.s. perhaps there is a better device for my application.??
    If so please advise.

    Hello Ken,
    Thank you for writing in.
Firstly, you can use masking tape to stick the four corners of the PCB board and the PCB land under the blue potentiometer. This step is used for insulation.
Secondly, you can use 704 silicone rubber to attach the board on the heat sink.
Please note that the dimension of the heat sink is 50×25×10mm
    Hope this can help you.
    Best regards
