Hi from Germany, which resistor has to be changed for adjusting the output voltage? I couldn’t find any information about that.

    Item:

    Hi again,

do you have a technical description, data-sheet or any detailed instructions? What exactly does each of the two resistors? Which resistor must have a higher or lower value (and what range: Rmin / Rmax ) to increase or decrease the output voltage? can I use a potentiometer and how has it to be connected? I don’t ant to destroy the converter by using the “try-and-error” method.

Without these informations the dc-dc-converter may be a nice piece of technique, but whole potential can never be exhausted by the user. The typical buyer isn’t willing to inspect the circuit and do a reverse engineering to find out how he can take the full use of the converter. The same applies to me.

If you would provide a PDF-file with all these informations (including a circuit diagram) for download you could sell much more of the dc-dc-converter (and all other devices) and you would have avoided the negative comment on Amazon.de. No, it wasn’t me 😉

    Greetings from Germany

    Hello Kai,
Thank you for your quick reply and valuable suggestion.
The function of the two resistors is adjusting the output voltage.
If you need to adjust the voltage, you need to adjust the fixed resistor.
The ratio of the two resistors is the value of the output voltage which is mentioned in the image we sent to you before.
You can also use a adjustable potentiometer to adjust the voltage.
Please remove the original resistor and weld the pins of a adjustable resistor to the pins of the original resistors.
Please note that the value of the adjustable resistor should be higher than the two original resistors(R1:88K, R2:12K).
    Hope this can help you.
    Best regards

What size SMD is the resistor?

    0402
    0603
    0805
    1206

I need to know which physical size to purchase.

    Hello Chris,
    Thank you for writing in.
    What are these number “0402, 0603, 0805, 1206” for?
Are they the resistor module number?
    Best regards
