Wondering how to calibrate the battery meter percentage and AH display on this meter.

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RLZ869Q?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_dt_b_product_details

Everything seems to work OK, but with battery capacity set for 30.0 ah and percentage set to 100%, the battery gauge always shows 100% and the ah display shows zero. I can change the percentage and the battery gauge goes to that percentage and then ah has a value. But, I would like to know how to properly set any values on this meter so that the battery gauge will be proper on my e-trike. Thank you.

Okay, please disregard my question. I feel like an idiot. While watching the more informative display, I noticed while riding the bike that the ah legend showed ‘CHG’ ! I had the black negative leads reversed on the shunt. Reversed them and the meter worked fine.

On the other hand, after lots of playing to mount the meter and run USB cabling for a wired interface, I am beginning to like this little meter. I only use it in discharge mode since my battery charges through different wiring (BMS), but it seems to give lots of information relating to battery usage and current draw. Highly visible display as I ride.
