I’ve bought from Amazon (ORDER # 206-7958474-0617921) your product DROK® Digital Multimeter DC 6.5-100V 20A Voltage Amperage Power Energy Meter DC Volt Amp Testing Gauge Monitor LCD Blue Backlight Digital Display with Built-in Shunt. In the beginning everything was fine, but after a month instead of 16V is showing 26V. There is a difference of about 10V compared with my voltmeter… It’s connected to a solar panel with a maximum voltage of 27V and 1.1amp, so I don’t think it’s a problem of over voltage…

    Hi Luis Bianchi,
    Thank you for writing in.
This problem may be caused by that the output voltage and current of the solar panel is not stable standard DC voltage current.
Frequent power-off or step down voltage will cause the data confusion.
Could you Please try to calibrate the meter?
Here is the instruction of calibration:
    1. Disconnect the power supply.
    2. Short joint calibration point(open the bottom cover, there are two holes on the edge of the circuit board which is marked “W” ).
    3. In the mean time, connect to 20V/1A standard DC voltage and current.
    4. If the screen displays CAL—,then —PASS that means the calibration is successful, otherwise, it fails.
    5. After successfully calibrating, disconnect the calibration point, power the meter again then it can work normally.
    Hope this can help you.
    Best regards

    Hi,

I purchased 2 of these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017BDQHE6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and am now having incorrect voltage readings similar to this post. I have these hooked up in my RV, one to read voltage/amps from my solar charger and on to read voltage/amps from the battery.

These both worked great for several months, but now they both are giving me incorrect voltage readings of around 20 volts when it should be 12-13. I have tried many things such as connecting it directly to a controlled metered power supply, measuring the voltage directly using a separate multimeter, and the calibration procedure listed in this post, but I cannot get them to read the correct value. The calibration procedure I attempted (shorting the two W connections and applying 20V/1A DC) shows CAL for a second or two, then shows ERR, and then continues to show the incorrect voltage when reconnected.

I like these meters, but need them to read the correct values. Could you please advise me what to do?
