I just received my Battery Meter, DROK 48V Digital Battery Remaining Capacity Percentage Level Voltage Temperature Monitor Tester, 10-100V 12V 36V 24V 48 Volt Electric Boat Battery Power Analyzer

It reads when I connect it directly to the batteries, but it does not turn on when plugged into a 48-volt connector attached to the batteries.  Voltage is there and correct at the connector, per a voltage meter.  A light goes on inside the meter but the unit is not powered on.

The other thing is that the batteries were just charged and while the meter shows 50.4 volts on the 48v setup, why would it show only 81% remaining?

    Thanks

    Hello Matt Langenbach,

If  battery type is not progaram correctly, percentage reading is also not correct. You can refer to this instruction

    https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/B1Z5kTp++9S.pdf

And what kind of 48-volt connector it is?  If possible, would you like to take some images to show how it is and connection?

    Best regards.

Thank you for the fast reply.  They are deep-cycle (marine) lead-acid batteries on a golf cart (48 volts).  I figured out the voltage issue and the meter is properly is connected.  The only open question is why it reads 50.4 volts but only 81% remaining.

    Thank you!

    Hello Matt Langenbach,

Have you progarmed battery type as per below instruction?

If it is 48v lead-acid battery, setting in menu 1 should be P48v.

    Best regards.

Unfortunately, the instructions are not translated properly and it is impossible to program per the included instructions; however, the instruction say the meter is set to 48V Lead Acid batteries by default.  If this is the case, why is it reading an incorrect %?

I tried to find something on Youtube to calibrate it but there was nothing I could find.

    Thank you.

I managed to get into the voltage percentage menu and it is already set at 100%.  Right now, the meter shows 49.7 volts but only shows 71%.

    Please help!

    Hello Matt Langenbach,

Do you mean menu 3 ?  Please kindly notice if you have programed menu 1, it is not necessary to program menu 3.   If you can’t still make it work, would you like to take some images or video to show yoru operation?

With more information, we can find out what wrong it is.

    Best regards.

Is there a way I can speak with someone?  I have to get this working properly TODAY!  You sold it to me already set up for lead-acid at 48 volts and it does not read correctly and your instructions are unusable.

I do not have time to be doing all of this.  Please provide a phone number where I can call and talk to someone once and for all

If you do not have a US phone number, kindly tell me exactly how to program this thing for Lead acid, 48 volts.  I cannot follow the instructions as they are not understandable
