Received from Amazon 3 pcs green, red and yellow current meter.  Could not get any to work.  Is there anything more than to pass the l0ad wire thru the CT.

Regarding the DROK 3pcs AC 100A Current Meter LED Indicator Light, I could not find the number 200340, however under the barcode is X001QWG1FP.

Tried it on my 220V water heater element which draws 18 amps and nothing, no light.  Also tried it on my 110V vacuum cleaner which draws 8 amps and nothing.

    Hello,

I am having the same problem as Jerry Uyeda.  I purchased three of the Mini AC 0-100A LED Indicator Light (#200340).  None of the three work.  I am using them to indicate current flow through a 220V well pump control circuit.  I have tested them with the two 110V hot wires running through the doughnut, and also one 110V hot wire running through the doughnut. Neither situation results in the LED lights operating – And I’ve tested all three lights.  None work.

I will be uploading pictures of my connection.

    Hello,

Please kindly notice CT can only hold one hot wire. And please connect AC power supply to X1 and X2 terminal, otherwise metr can’t p0wer on.

    Best regards.

As a note to anyone who may be referencing this post in the future – These LED indicators/meters are NOT self-powered by the current flowing through the donut.  They require a separate source of power.  That source is attached at the base of the fixture to the two screw terminals, X1 and X2.  There is a schematic printed on the side of the fixture that shows this, though it can be fairly hard to see since some of them are printed in white on the light gray fixture body.
