    Hello –

    I am in need of a DC to DC voltage Voltage Converter that can boost 8v to 12v. The draw is very minimal, less than 1amp.

    I need this converter to be small in size as I need to place this inside a access control keypad. The device will be used to power a HD-TVI camera which requires 12v, the access control keypad only has an 8v output.

    Which product would you recommend, and could you please provide a spec sheet?

    so what would you have that outputs 2a or 4a while boosting from 8v to 12v.

    I would like something that is small and panel mount.

    Here is a boost converter can step 8V to 12V, and its max output current is 2.5A.
    LM2577 DC Boost Power Converter 3-34V to 4-35V
    You can read the details to see whether it can work for your purpose.
