Hi everyone! My oven broke down right before hosting a dinner party this weekend — can’t cook anything! Really stressed about it. Looking for a repair service that can come same-day or next-day in Aurora. Heard High City Appliance works here, but wondering if they’re actually fast and honest with pricing. Any recommendations? Appreciate any help!

I know that feeling all too well. A friend of mine had their oven quit just before a family get-together, and the timing couldn’t have been worse. They ended up calling High City Appliance after another place gave a vague, expensive estimate over the phone. The technician explained the problem clearly, found it was a faulty thermostat instead of anything major, and had it working again that afternoon. It was such a relief, especially with guests on the way. Definitely worth getting it checked before assuming the worst.
