The Dual display panel meter came without a wiring diagram. I am using the meter to monitor the output voltage and amperage of a test solar panel. I am confused by the “amp” leads (yellow, red and black) connections as this meter has an internal shunt and the wiring diagrams on other posts is for an external shunt. Can you please provide a wiring diagram for the dual meter with internal shunt?

    Thanks in advance,

I have just purchased the same device and have been fighting it trying to get it to work. I can get mine to power on but I cannot get it to read the voltage or amperage. I have found other people on youtube showing how they hooked there’s up but even still I’m not getting results. The big difference between the one I have and the others I have seen is mine has a little different wire configuration. Do you have the larger sized black and red wire on one connector and then the smaller black, red, and yellow on the other?

    Thanks

My unit has two connectors on the back. When viewed from the back, the left-hand connector has two small gauge (26 stranded?) red and black wires. When connected to 12 VDC (red positive black negative) the displays illuminate but do not indicate voltage or current. I then connected the larger gauge (18 ga) red wire from the right hand connector together with the small red lead and the volt meter indicated the correct DC voltage. I do not have a load resister handy but I expect that if I connect it between the large right hand red lead and the large right hand yellow lead it will indicate the current.

In conclusion, if you have two sets of leads, the smaller ones appear to only power the circuit and the large ones are the sources for the measuring circuits.

Thank you for the post I have determined today that my device unfortunately just had some form of defect and that is the main reason I was having so much trouble.

    Dear Mark and Blake,
Sorry for the delay. Here is the wiring instructions for the DC 100V 10A meter:
    ——————
Black line (thin): vacant or buck circuit (module) negative
    Red line (thin): power supply+
Black line (thick): COM, common measuring
Red line (thick): PW+, measuring terminal voltage input positive
Yellow line (thick): IN+, current input+
    ——————————–

    And below are diagrams:

    100014 Diagram 02

We are sorry that if you still cannot read the correct values, please send us the test image and tell us more details about your devices and wiring.

I just received a Volt Amp Monitor (DC 4.5-30V 0-50A) Voltage Current Tester. Can I presume that other than the size described in the above posts, the wiring method will be the same as shown in wiring diagram #2. I am using it to monitor my RV battery (the system is fused at 40 Amp). Your confirmation or additional information would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Stu

Thank you for the diagram. It shows that I need to cut the shunt. Can you please verify how this is done (is the section between the terminals a Jumper that I cut out?). can I remove it by taking out the screws on the underside of the shunt to remove it?

    Thanks again for your help.

    dear friend,
“Must be cut Off” not mean cut the shunt, it means cut off the load wire.
we are sorry for any inconvenience may have caused you.
and hope this will help you.
    beat regards

Ordered and received your 100amp meter with no wiring diagram, I found these above and it says I need a shunt. Where do I get one? My turbine is rated at 33 amps and does not have an external shunt.

    Thank you

    Hello Tom,
    Thank you for writing in.
Do you orderd this one 100016.
We are sorry this item doesn’t have shunt. Hope you can understand.
You may need to buy a shunt separately. For 100A meter, the specification of shunt should be 100a/75mv.
For more question, please feel free to contact us.
    Best regards.
