I accidentally input full 120v rectified mains voltage into my dc-dc boost converter which is model SKU:200150. It has an input range of 8v-60v DC. The fuse blew immediately and I replaced it. The MOSFET also was destroyed and I replaced it with an IRFP260N MOSFET. The unit still will not power on. I’m looking for advice as to which components to check next and replace. I don’t want to troubleshoot every component unnecessarily or remove SMD components unnecessarily as they are understandably difficult to install. Any ideas would be appreciated. Please give me specific details as to which components to check and which you know are on this model of boost converter. Thanks

    Hello Rex,

Manufacturer said not only the mosfet, power supply chip, voltage converter chip and capacitance should also damage.

You still need to check other parts. In that case, it is better to replace item directly.

    Beset regards,

    DROK
