    I’m installing the:
DROK® Digital Current Voltage Multimeter AC 100-300V 100A Voltage Amperage Meter
My question concerns the placement of the 10awg wire through the 3/4″ hole of the coil. Does it need centering? or is it ok wiretied to a side of the coil? Where it’s not remotely centered.
Any suggestions? I could use cotton to hold the wire in the center?
    Thanks,
    Rob

Hi Rob, the wire must through the 3/4″ hole of the coil (transformer), but not require in the center.

Then please note the wiring sequence:
    ————————
    1.Connect current loop
    2.Connect the AC power supply
3.Please do not touch any components and circuit,to avoid electric shock

HI, I have the same unit and have tried to connect the current sensor coil to the incoming power cables into my Caravan. However, with the coil around the wire, nothing happens on the gauge, reads 0 amps, I’ve tried isolating the live cable only and tried that but still nothing, do you have any ideas. The gauge lights up and shows volts but all other segments show zero.

    Thanks

    Hello Steven McGill,
    Thank you for writing in.
Could you please tell us more details of your operation, such as the input voltage/current, the wiring, the working environment?
If you can, we sincerely hope that you can send us some images or video of your wiring to let us check the problem details.
You can send us an email(service at droking dot com) with this information.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
    Best regards
