I have purchased and used, quite successfully, your “Portable Bluetooth Receive Module AS1711BT DC 5-12V”. Unfortunately, in refurbishing and installing Bluetooth into vintage tube radios, most of the possible Bluetooth Module chassis installations are not located where the module blue LED can be seen easily or ever. I have had to remove your module LED (at great board damage peril) and connect an my own LED with lanyard to provide back of radio visibility.

My suggestion is to provide LED drive PCB pads for wire attachment and disclose the value of the module LED pull-up resistor as well as the Bluetooth chip safe drive capability. Also, as can be gleaned from your module instruction pamphlet, great care must be given to the +/-12V power input terminals. Well, on half of the boards I’ve installed, one or both of the connectors has broken. Please, provide a much more reliable alternative connector or just provide large solder pads.

All-in-all, your module is well designed and the audio fidelity nothing short of excellent!
