Is there a way to control the RFI out of the DROK Buck COnverter

I am trying to power a vintage 6v/8amp car radio (two radios 1946, 1952, have the same interference issues)
The Buck I have I got from Amazon, has zk-jva-12kx marked on the unit.

I power from clean DC power supply TEK 1680 with input 13.8v/12amps
Output power set to 6.3v and 8amps

There seems to be alot of interference. Any help??

Also, in the package from Amazon, there was a large loose diode.  How am I supposed to use this as there was no instructions.

    Thank you

    Hello Steve Still,

The item you mean should be #2001711007. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B078Q1624B/ref=as_li_tl?tag=proeng-20

Diode is to prevent converter from current back feeding when charging. Please connect it to output port.

This converter is not with magnetic shielding, so there is  magnetic field interference generated by power transformer.

    Best regards.
